A seasoned company director with 19 years experience in the Import/export sector. My experience in business, voluntary work, and the BBC have provided an informative insight in event management and media operations. I also lead a free award winning, walking and running group for adults based in London.

BBC Watchdog - Researcher - Oct 09 - Nov 09                 

  • ​Responsible for administrative tasks for the Watchdog Production team as well as opening and logging audience correspondence

  • Finding stories which have been sent in to Watchdog for researchers to consider for future shows and delivered tapes to and from UNIT post production house

  • Assisting on film shoots, which consisted of runner duties as well as participating in the live studio broadcast

  • Data-entry of individuals personality tests on behalf of BBC `Child Of Our Time`
  • Producing Watchdog styled 3 minute documentaries using the Sony Z1 camera and researched archived clips from other shows to be used in future shows

Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 - Mar 22 - Aug 22

  • Auditioned and rehearsed at both Edgbaston and Longbridge, Birmingham

  • Performed in front of a live crowd at Alexandra Stadium, Birmingham, as part of the `work hard play hard` section

UEFA Euro 2020 - Jun 21 - Jul 21

  • Providing the best possible support to all broadcast partners in order to fully exploit their media

      rights and deliver a truly bespoke production to their respective             audiences

  • Responsible for ensuring that freelancers and journalists are supported with their broadcasts

  • Provide basic information on TV production and booking matters, general tournament information as well as tourist information to UEFA EURO 2020 broadcast partners (UBPs)

  • Escorting and registering media to specific areas in the venue

  • Host and facilitate media activities in the press room

  • Work alongside the talent team to greet and host talent during their time in venue

  • Manage the schedule of WE Day speakers or performers to ensure they are where they need to be within the venue throughout the day

  • Communicated talent arrivals, drop-offs and media room check-ins to the production team

  • Ushering talent to their scheduled red carpet and media interviews 

  • Followed the producer’s cues throughout the live red carpet broadcast regarding talent call times and schedule changes

Crisis at Christmas - Dec 13 - Dec 19

  • Help for the homeless charity; general volunteering duties i.e. serving food, cleaning, CV help, clothing handouts, personal care, main door and outside security

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 - Apr 19 - Jul 19

  • Working alongside the Venue Media Manager on the day to day operation of a media centre

  • Assist media, and ensure that they have everything needed to capture the action (interviews, quotations, footage)  

  • Support the media team at press conferences and mixed zones in each venue

  • Provide operational support to the Venue Broadcast Manager and the Broadcast Team as they capture images to beam across the globe

IRB Rugby World Cup 2015 - Sep 14   

  • Scrum participant; setting a Guinness World Record for the worlds largest scrum of a total of 1,008 people recorded live

 

Tower of London Poppies - Aug 14

  • Planting ceramic poppies to reflect World War 1 centenary commemoration

 

Rugby World Cup 2013 - Sep - Nov 13

  • Handing out flyers inside Wembley Stadium before kick off

  • Visited the Houses of Parliament; represented team 13 in photo shoots with MPs

  • Interviewed by BBC London News in Wembley Stadium, representing team 13 

 

BigIF Event - Jun 13

  • In charge of marshalling people up the viewing platform

  • Planted spinning flowers, with each flower representing each person who suffers from hunger

 

UEFA Champions League Opening Ceremony - Apr 13 - May 13

  • Volunteered and rehearsed at the Hive Football Centre, Edgware, and Wembley Stadium alongside 500 other volunteers under Director Hamish Jenkinson, and Mass Movement Choreographers Andy Turner and Jonny Grant

 

LOCOG – Olympics and Paralympics Opening Ceremony

  • Volunteered and rehearsed at 3 Mills Studios, Dagenham East, and the Olympic Stadium alongside 10,000 other volunteers under Artistic Directors Danny Boyle, Toby Sedgwick, Bradley Hemmings, Jenny Sealey, and Movement Director Kevin Finnan
